Is it clear why I left 25 years in academia and ground-breaking practice and a position as founding department chair of a school of pharmacy?

My wife signed me up for Retirement Wellness Strategies with Dr. Michelle Fritsch.  I made it clear in our first discussion with Dr. Fritsch that I did NOT want to do this.  I did NOT want another woman yapping at me about what I should be doing or not doing.  I did NOT have time for this. I was only doing this to keep my wife off my back.  
 
Dr Fritsch was very patient and understanding about my concerns.  She kept our sessions very short and according to my time schedule.  
 
By the fifth session I told her, ‘these are my therapy sessions’.  I was fully engaged in the process, wanted our sessions to be more frequent and gave them more time in my schedule. I saw my post-retirement future come into clearer view, I saw my options, I saw ways to focus on the things that I’m passionate about, and I started taking action with my health so those things could be real possibilities for me.

And now with the help of Dr. Fritsch I have implemented a wellness plan that I am confident will allow me to enjoy a longer, happier retirement.
